This khukuri is the same as the Angkhola model which is heaver than the standard size but has a unique handle. Therefore it is also known as the Angkhola Panawal. The metal of the blade is flat in the handle area and can be seen all the way around. The handle is strongly joined with 3 metal rivets to the blade. This gives this knife the most strength of any khukuri available.

The handle of this khukuri will be slightly different than pictured. We had our producer remove the decorative "bump" on the handle as this can hurt your hand when doing heavy chopping and add a thrid rivit for more strength. These are exclusive features you will not find if you get a Panawal elsewhere. It has a HIGHLY GRADED carbon steel blade which is strong enough to cut wood or bone! The handle is made from water buffalo horn. The craftsmanship on this knife is amazing so if you are looking for the finest quality khukuri you will not be disappointed!

Panawal Horn Handle
This is Mini Jungle style handy type Khukuri. This knife is identical in measurement and weight to the Angkhola. This model is made in Angkhola Village therefore also known as Panawal Angkhola. The blade measures 8" and the total length with wooden handle is 13.5". This Khukuri however, has a uniquely distinct handle where the metal of the blade in the handle area is flat and not narrow and pointed as in other knives (full tang). The blade is therefore visible all around the handle. The handle is joined strongly to the blade with two metal rivets that can also be seen at the sides. The weight of this knife is 750 grams with buffalo leather covered cotton-wood sheath. The total shipping weight including display wooden stand with packing will 1.5 kg.
