Khukuri/Kukri.
The blade of this khukuri is same as Bhojpure Khukuri\kukri.
The scabbard is made from refined buffalo lather with
beautiful design on it. This khukuri not only comes with
sharpener (Chakmak) and small knife (Karda) at the back
but also with tweezers, ear-picker, chisel tooth pick
and a pouch to keep dust for flint maker. There is
always one extra empty hole also to keep pencil, pen,
etc. The blade measures 10.5”, handle measures 5.5” and
it weighs 1200 grams approximately. Blade made from
reinforced steel used in railway tracks, handle is made
from water buffalo horn and sheath is made from a high
quality pattern leather of water buffalo hind. This
khukuri was made by highly skilled craftsmen of Eastern
part of Nepal. This khukuri is very beautiful which is
mostly used for decoration purpose. |
